Bonito is a species of tuna, in the family of Scombridae.  You can frequently find it in shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Black Sea. Bonito meat is rich and flavourful, firm, and red. It’s often compared as a mix between Spanish Mackerel and Tuna. It’s usually served in sashimi, grilled, or baked. It can also be used as an alternative for making canned tuna, with lower cost and in big quantities
Fishing Bonito is banned from May to July in China. The main market for whole round bonito is in Asia and Africa. For precooked loin, we are mainly selling it in the European Union, Asia, and the Middle East.
