The latest lockdown has been last a while in Shanghai and other cities. How is it affect our business? Ocean Treasure World Foods Limited experts revealed the first-hand China lockdown situation here.

Factories in the south: Guangdong, Hainan, Vietnam, Ningbo, Zhoushan, etc
Panga is totally fine while Vietnam has decided to live with Covid. The temporary quarantine made no real impact on Tilapia from Guangdong and Hainan. However, with the increased positive cases in Hainan, it is hard to guarantee production. Cephalopod and Scallop from Zhejiang, which is Ningbo and Zhoushan to be precise, maintain stable produce and sale.
Factories in the north: Dalian, Dandong, Weihai, Qingdao, Yantai, Henan, etc
The epidemic prevention in the north is stricter. Dandong and Weihai struggled in production and transport since Jan 2022. The local lock-down in Dalian started in Dec 2021. The products like APO, COD, salmon, redfish, YFS are bearing a dramatic impact in the past months. The good news is that a couple of factories resume batch-wise. The majority will be back on track before May. The production of Frozen vegetables from Henan and Shandong stays normal, but the transport fee is increasing a bit by the lock-down policy.
Generally, the export business is not worst affected whereas the import business is under pressure. Shanghai Ports is shut down so all the products need to be diverted out. The renewed Covid inspection added extra 2-4 weeks on the container. And the Labour Festival from 1st – 4th May will be deserted in China.
